ImpactMC

ImpactMC serves several purposes. The first purpose of the program is to specify and run a Monte Carlo (MC) simulation via a graphical user interface (GUI) to obtain a patient- or phantom-specific three dimensional (3D) dose distribution. After finishing the simulation, the user can evaluate the results by estimating organ and patient doses (second purpose). As the simulation can be time consuming, it is possible to save and (re)load the (intermediate) simulation results. Therefore, the third task of the program is to manage all data.
