CT Imaging

CT Imaging GmbH specializes in the development and implementation of software and hardware solutions for medical imaging and image processing. The main focus of the company is the development and manufacturing of high resolution CT (computed tomography) systems (Micro-CT) as well as their application in the areas of medical, scientific and industrial research. The goal of the Breast-CT project is to develop, validate and clinically test a dedicated X-ray computed tomography (CT) scanner for the female breast with performance characteristics that clearly surpass all existing approaches.

Partnerships and the cooperation with manufacturers of other imaging modalities (e.g. PET, MRI and optical tomography) allow for the smooth and beneficial registration with the computed tomography data, thus ensuring a multimodal overall image.
